Georgia Unemployment Application

When you get ready to fill out the GA unemployment application you need to make sure you have set aside plenty of time to complete the application, and you need to be sure that you have all of the information ready that may be requested of you.

You need to know:

1. Your social security number.
2. Your driver's license number.
3. Your last employer's name and address.
4. The dates that you worked at your last employer.
5. The dates of all of the jobs that you have held in the past (This is not always required, but is very helpful to have).

If you are filling out a Georgia unemployment application in person, you will need to take the following items with you:

1. Your social security card.
2. Your driver's license.
3. Last paystub from your previous employer.
4. Any layoff documents your previous employer may have given you.

I've been working for almost a year and the last couple months they're only giving me 4 hours a week. I have no write ups or and always willing to work. They've hired new people and gave them my hours. Can I apply for unemployment and can they by Georgia law do this?

I am being forced to leave my job due to a Military PCS. I have worked consecutively for 15 years.

***I am currently leaving my position (from another state) on "LWOP" Leave without pay, I am still technically employed with them, and do not qualify for unemployment benefits ***
so with that being said....
here are my questions for when I transition from LWOP to unemployed. since their is a timelimit.

1) Can I file for unemployment with the state of Georgia, if I am forced to resign after my 6 month time period of being on LWOP? (my last employment is from out of state)

2) Do I file with the state of GA for unemployment benefits from the state I was employed in, or from GA?
****A - I am employed from another state, PCSing to GA
****B - I will be living in GA when I'm forced to resign after my time period of being on LOWP runs out.
3) Do I qualify for unemployment benefits AFTER I've taken LWOP - DUE TO A MILITARY PCS -
then, we move to GA -
and I continue to try and find a job -
but if I can't find a job after my 6 months is up and have to resign - WILL I QUALIFY FOR GA UNEMPLOYMENT BENEFITS????
thank you for your advice,

I am being laid off from my day job. I also work retail part-time, with a varying weekly work schedule (from 0 - 11 per hours per week depending on staffing issues). Would I still qualify for unemployment benefits if I have a part-time job?

I worked at the company almost 10 years for sewing material. The manager was unfair with me, everytime I request to day off for my personal day ( request only one day, I really need day off).I wrote request one month ago. She always refuse at before the day I requested, while other person she easy to accept their request, even though they asked her one days or two days before day off. I really need one day off that I requested for one momonth ago because I really need. Why I let het know I need off one day, she can not handle the job one day without me? I know I need job to take myself and my family, but I need the day off for my family's special day that we are planned for a month. I quit. Can I have unemployment ?
