My question is this. I will be going on maternity leave for 8 to 12 weeks any day now. The whole time that I'm on maternity leave it will be unpaid. Can I draw unemployment during the time I am on leave until I return back to work?? I have worked as a full time employee for this company for four years now. I also live in the state of Minnesota . Please let me know any help is great.

I was laid off from a company and eligible for state unemployment. I accepted a position at another employer, but for substancially less pay. I have come to find that I am not able to "make it" with my current pay and having to pay out daycare expenses. I am wondering if I am able to go back on state unemployment from my previous employer in order to have the time to look for a job with equal pay as I had before, so I can afford living expenses and daycare?
