2. Your driver's license.
3. Last paystub from your previous employer.

My husband has been employed by a company for over 3 years. His salary has been good. Now, his employer told him that he must take a 40% paycut in order to keep his job. The hours and responsibilitie s are the same. The salary that he was previously receiving was set up as a contracted amount for 3 years, so technically they kept their end of that contract. My question, however, is could he possibly have a claim of "quitting with good cause"? There is no way we can live with a 40% paycut. not to mention, they will not give him health coverage for his spouse (me). Obviously having a job is better than nothing but wouldn't he recieve the same amount from unemployment (at least 60% of what he made the last 3 years)and be able to search for a better job while on unemployment? Any advice?

I have not quit my job yet but want to because of ethics purposes. Im the only one who works there that is not related. I feel the others are favored. They pay one cash while he collects unemployment and I have expressed I think that is not fair and illegal. It continues to happen. there are also other things. I want to find a new job but can't and since I expressed I was upset about him being paid cash its been awkward. If I quit will I be granted unemployment till I find a new job?

I worked in Minnesota for the last six or seven weeks and then went into work and they said they have to lay me off. Am I qualified for unemployment? It took me seven months to get this job and before that I worked a job for the past 11 years but quit before moving to this state. I was not expecting to get laid off. they said I did nothing wrong. just had to lay me off. My paycheck stub said seasonal. I started out working 36 hours the first few weeks and then went down to the 20's in the past two. please let me know what I can do. I am actively looking for work but want to know if I am eligible for any sort of unemployment with such a short work status out here. thanks for your time.
