Florida Unemployment Continued Claims

In order to keep receiving an unemployment check every week you must file a continued claim, also known as a weekly certification or weekly claim.

The purpose of filing a continued claim is to tell the unemployment agency that you:

1. Are actively looking for work.
2. Have not done any work this week.
3. Have not made any money this week (unless you are allowed to by the terms of your unemployment.)
4. Have not found a new job.
5. Want to receive an unemployment check or payment this week.

Therefore, it is very important to file your continued claim every week to keep receiving your unemployment check.

If you delay in filing your continued claim, you may not get your unemployment check on time.

I have been sending late report forms since January, finally got the right address in May! When will adjudication let me know what's happening? Do I have to get an attorney to even get a reply?

I have been waiting for my benefits for two months I have a appeal scheduled for next week because by accident I put I had no transportation and they said I was in eligible. So I'm waiting for next week for ny phone call to appeal. If i take a job do i still get the back pay or is it all lost. I applied two months ago and still have not even received the debit card for my payments . I need that back pay im so behind im bills. It would be disappointing if I did all tht work and don't get back pay
