I am about to quit my job because I lost two shifts and the shifts I'm working now aren't bringing in any money. I would like to use that time to look for a new job. I cannot afford to live on what I make now. Will I still be able to get unemployment?

My husband and I are wanting to relocate to Florida; we currently live in Indiana, any suggestions on job market? What is minimum/ or common starting wages in factories? Who can we call that can help us execute this plan?

I was "fired" from my job not too long ago. I had only worked there for a little over 3 weeks. I was supposed to get my paycheck when everyone else did. While everyone else received post dated checks, which I know is not right as well, they refused me my check because they said I hadn't filled out the correct paperwork. Once I had proven to them I had, they refused me again because they said they didn't have the correct photocopies. Once they recopied them, they assured me I would get it the beginning of the next week. When the time had come, they tried all the same arguments over. Then they told me to "get the f*** out".

Would I qualify for unemployment?

I was fired for lack of managerial skills, not meeting their expectations, however, they provided no paperwork to sign, and I had not received any explanation of when my benefits were to expire, or information on my vacation pay - it was just a goodbye. Maybe, I am wrong, but isn't there something missing here? I am filing for unemployment today.

I recently worked for a company driving a bus. Damage was done to the bus that I was unaware of.. I felt like i was on csi as I was questioned reoeatedly about the incident and they even wanted me to go for a lie detector test. I said no problem. another person who drove the same bus was also involved. I felt my honesty and integrity was put on the line. Rather than go thru a hassel I quit. The other driver is still working even though he has had 2 incidents with the bus before. do i still qualify for benefits

Please can someone answer me.

I was laid off my job in Jan '13 and began receivng unemployment in feb '13 and my benefits are almost gone come June 24 '13 according to my online acct from DOL.
-- How can I get an extension on benefits?
Jobs are just not there. I'm looking every day for a job. No one calling me. I've worked over 40 yrs. and I've never had to claim benefits until now.

-- Will benefits be automatically extended or will I have to request, how do I request an extension?
Please answer as soon as possible. I'm praying earnestly for answer. Thanks for your help.
