I've been on unemployment since May of 2012 and Colorado's unemployment rate is 8% and up. I've never been on unemployment before and I haven't been able to reach a benefit's agent on the phone since May. I have a few questions.

1. When tax time comes how do we receive our w2 info?
2. Is the way we file for taxes different than normal?
3. When my benefits run out (because I have a medical condition) how long will it take to start receiving Tier 2 Benefits and what are the requirements for T2, does it automatically roll into t2 or do I have to fill something out?

I just exhausted tier 1 (20 weeks) this past sunday October 7, 2012. When I check my claim status it stil says EXHAUSTED and the funds are still at zero. I was wondering how long it takes to roll over from tier 1 to tier 2?

I'm about to exhaust my regular unemployment benefits and have been unable to reach my benefits agent by phone. This website says that the system will automatically enroll me in EUC but I need to know if there's anything else I'm required to do to qualify for Emergency unemployment other than the required work search each wk and calling in? How long does it take to get EUC?
