I was recently terminated from my job because they said I was not a good fit. They also made allegations that I was negative, which I dispute wholeheartedly. I received some forms from UE to fill out, and the questions asked related to the person having an attitude or being disruptive (which I wasn't). I did not answer if it didn't pertain. But I need to answer the question that says, "I am unemployed because:" I summed it up by saying that the CEO told me I was not a good fit, which he did say to me. One of the team leads said I was negative, and when I asked her to specify, she would not divulge the info. Much of what she said was all lies, and I had never once been warned verbally or in writing, nor was I ever put on probation. My question is, though, how much detail to put on this questionnaire? I had seen on some sites that you don't want to put too much detail on there, to just stick with the facts. I am not going overboard on details, just putting down what I recall was said. When asked what I should tell UE, he said to say that I was not a good fit. I have to respond by Wednesday, 12/15. Do you think there is any chance my UE will be denied? I also put in there that I had never received any complaints from any clients, and that some even recommended me. I also put that I was a conscientous professional who has a strong work ethic and that I am the breadwinner for my family since my husband is disabled. I haven't sent this form yet, so any advice would be helpful. Thanks so much!

I quit my job, due to miss-management and few employees, I could not complete sales goals. I was forced into extreme work stress in a healthcare facility to handle the office and patients over a 8 month time, no vacation, on call, overtime, etc etc. with little support of the corporate offices. Health issues arose etc etc. I then was written up 3 times consecutively at years end with one last to go for termination. according to policy i was to be fired for performance. I applied for a new job but didnt get it, but quit before i had a mental breakdown, or illness (B/P) etc. I have medical reports over the year doctors stating work related. I busted my butt to keep it together but was exhausted. 50 hours vacation on books yet. Second appeal was sent to board, and the online notes state that initial claim has been processed. While in initial appeal, it stated, your claim is under appeal. What does this mean now that the second appeal has been sent, and the new note states, initial claim has been processed?

I am currently on unemployment and am wondering if I was to sign a contract as a subcontractor work 15 hours a week to make some extra income while still searching for work, will I then become ineligible for unemployment? Or if I incorporate to try to get some extra income from a work a home opportunity would that make me ineligible? As both will not offer near the salary I made, nor will I make over 40% of my unemployment complensation weekly.

I am currently collecting PA unemployment from a full time job which I was laid off from a year ago. I have taken a job part-time for minimum wage at 15 hrs a week and have worked there for 11 months. I had previously lived in Florida and am currently seeking employment there for a full time or better paying part-time job. If I voluntarily quit my current PA part-time job to relocate and pursue my search for a FL job can I still collect from PA?

I have worked at a place for nearly 2 years. We get paid bi-weekly. I am on salary. My check has bounced again. This is the fourth or fifth time in those 2 years. When I approach my employer about the issuse, he always tells me to wait to deposit it well after the check cut date.

Is this grounds to file PA Unemployment?

I have been with my company for a year on March 1, 2012. I found out this week that my store is closing. I was offered a transfer, but I currently do not have a vehicle which makes traveling very difficult. Can I get unemployment benefits if I was offered a transfer and do not take it?

I am unemployed since June after working for 23 years for a company. I have an opportunity to do some freelance writing which I would get paid about $30-40 a week. I would be considered self-employed. Will be self-employed affect my unemployment benefits.

I was fired for "job abandonment" but i was being mentally and verbally abused by a co-worker which could have put peoples' lives in jeopordy because i am a nurse. I continued to be absent on the days i knew i had to work with her. Prior to that, i was out sick and had medical documentation. I still was written up. Can i still get unemployment

I am currently receiving unemployment benefits and need to have a surgical, proced ure, which will prohibit me from working for 2 to 3 weeks , per doctor's instructions. Will this make me inelligible to receive my unemployment benefits for that period of time? If I cannot collect unemployment compensation, am I eligible for any type of disability compensation from the state or federal government for those 2-3 weeks?

My husband received an overpayment on his unemployment, because he started a new job last year and messed up filing his unemployment. It was his fault, so he is repaying the unemployment that he received during that time. Do we have to file any of this when we do our taxes this year? Will we be getting something in the mail that we need when we do our taxes?

I have worked for this company for 10 years. In April 2012, I was placed on disability due to a medical condition and was paid in full, Since I was unable to return after 26 weeks, I was terminated . I am now ready to return to work, but have no job to return to. Would I be eligible for unemployment benefits?

I don't know what im doing right now, i graduated out of Beauty School and few months later got a job at a salon. But i have sclerosis, and my joints started to hurt my joints, I don't have that kind of money to afford to get myself checked, to see if i have developed arthritis. I quit my salon job back in Nov. Not only because my physical was getting worse, but i was getting mistreated, and getting blamed and accused for nothing. My manager was making me do her works, within couple of weeks into working. Now Im working at a retail store. They say Im working part- time i thought okay its 30-35 an hr. I've been working there for almost a whole month now, and i've only worked there at least 4 5 times. I work like 1-2 days a week. 3 if im lucky. I have to start paying for my school loans now. I already missed one payment because im not making anothing, with the job i have now. I checked my student loan website, they have something about unemployment if i work less then 30 hrs. Does that mean i can apply for unemployment. The * meaning important or w.e said im i am. Im so new with this whole thing. So please help me out. Im trying to find a second job or a better one. I don't want to start my new life owing so much bills. within a year. I also got car insurance to pay and my phone and as well helping my mom pay her bills, because he got laid of about a yr or so ago. Im clueless about these things. So it would be nice to have answers to these questions. Please reply back.

I am a federal employee and am going to be furloughed for 22 days. The furlough days will be 2days a pay period ( a pay period is 2 wks) for the next 11 pay periods, basicly from April through Sept. Am I eligible for unemployment compensation and if so, when. I was told I could be eligible after the 20th day of furlough.

My husband was approved for UC on 5/24. This process of filing and unemployment is new to us ... so we didn't file until today 5/31. The account status says approved but inactive. We contacted the UC office via FAX.

What is the process for reactivating in this case? How long will it take? How many prior weeks can we file for this first time?

thanks so much for any help on this.
