I worked for 7 weeks at a large grocery store here in Pa. I had to walk to work everyday and night because I can't afford a car. I walked in the rain, snow and cold. I only missed one day because of a migraine.. I would come in early and stay late whenever asked. I thought I was doing a good job, I was never repremanded or written up for anything. so yesterday the GM and my boss called me into the canferance room and he fired me. He said that "it's just not working out". thats it no other explaination or anything. What can I do? Can I get unemployment?? Please help.

I have worked for a company for more then a year have always liked wat i'm doing work hard but since the begining i have noticed that the company takes allot of short cuts that could result in sserious injury or even death, when i make a sugesstion to make a change for safety the response is usually the same yeah wereally eed to make some changes but nothing ever gets done well the longer i'm here the more i see how dangeous they make things and these things could be done correctly wth time and money which i know the company has access to but is chosing not to do i've seriousl thouught of quiting because i am afraid that one mistake on there lack of proper equipment could cost me and allot of other people there lives ( I am working in the gas well field ) If i qiut and try and draw unemployement unitl i find another job will i be able to recieve benifits??

I faxed the unemployment extension form back to the PA unemployment office in my area(philadelph ia) but I do not know what is the next step I need to take to receive benefits.

my question is if i was in the work place and not on the clock and an employee hit me and i hit them back. how can i be terminated as a sales associate but the store manager still be employed ?

i worked at a company for 3 years, i loved my job i would go in early, took my breaks on time and never got written up for attendance or anything. i took phone calls, hundreds and hundreds of phone calls weekly, monthly.... i couldn't get into the phone for two days, so they had me sit with other agents, giving them advice.. I called the IT team (twice - both gave me the same reason i couldn't get on the phone) and they said it happens all the time it was because too many people where on the phones and my shift was late so i figured that was it. then one day my supervisor pulls me aside and tells me im on administrative leave. few days go by im fired. it's Nov, money is tight and i have a one year old. i don't know how i'm going to get Christmas presents for him. you cant get in trouble for trying to get unemployment so i'm going to try i guess.

I repaid unemployment for a no fault overpayment in the year after the overpayment was issued, after filing last year taxes the IRS said I owed taxes for that money but I can have that taken off if I can show proof that I repaid the overpayment money back to UC. Yet....unemployment will not send me the paper work to prove that I paid it other than a piece of paper that literally shows that I have a zero balance but doesn't specify zero balance for what. The IRS will not accept it...yes, I sent them the form. So now I am in the position that the IRS is going to freeze my bank account. HOW DO I GET THE PAPER WORK THAT SHOWS I REPAID THIS SO I CAN PROVE TO THE IRS THAT IT IS REPAID BEFORE MY BANK ACCOUNT GETS FROZEN?!?!
