You were supposed to make your own PIN number when you originally filed for your unemployment claim. Is it possible you used the last four digits of your social? Try that. A number you could reach a live person is 609-292-7162. Hope this helps.

I just received my notice of benefit determination which states I am eligible for EUC as of 6/24/2012 ; it state EUC TIER 2 then Benefit year ending 6/30/2012. I've tried to file a continued claim everyday because it did not state when to continue the claim. The answer is you have no benefits at this time. Today is the date (2 weeks after my last tier) that I would have to claim normally and it still states that message. Am I supposed to wait until Wednesday to claim the benefit? Should I refile a new claim? I've been calling unemployment every day and they basically have a message stating high call volume try again another time. I am scared to death, I never would have thought that I would loose my job after 10 years and be in this place. Hope you can answer this.

The automated message said I would be called back in 45-56mins. Do you actually call people back or should I have just stayed on hold?

My office is closing and relocating to my employer's private home. I am not being let go, but am very uncomfortable working from their home. Additionally, I never get paid on time and sometimes go one to two months before I finally get paid. If I leave, do I qualify for unemployment benefits so I can look for a new job? I work/live in New Jersey.

I inadvertently submitted my weekly claim for week ending 6/22/13 with errors. What should I do? Is there a way to cancel that week's claim & resubmit? Or can I call someone to help fix the accidental errors? Thanks for the help.

1) What is the phone # of the Newton office? Can't get through on the main line.
2) How do you get a password &/or find out what your old one was &/or change it?
3) Can you work at all (part-time, temporary) while continuing unemployment benefits? Is there a $ limit before it affects benefits?

I've been claiming benefits with direct deposit and so far the bank has no deposits listed. It has been several weeks now and I really need the funds.

After being employed for 8 years (with an organization I have been with for 50) I was dismissed in June with a letter, on company letterhead, signed by the group president and even stamped with the organization's official seal, stating I was being dismissed immediately due to lack of funds to maintain my position. I was further requested to remove all my belongings from the building by the end of the work day. I was not offered an option of fewer hours or eventual rehire--- and although I thought there was trouble I did not expect to be dismissed without options.
I am aware of 2 new board members having personal issues with me, as I have noted questionable activities. One individual had made 3 attempts in 6 months to see me fired, as I am aware of his involvement in a matter now being examined by the attorney general's office.
I have after 2 months applied for unemployment benefits and have been informed that I have a phone appointment with a claims examiner, as I 'may have been fired for misconduct'. As the dismissal notice clearly states in no uncertain terms that I was being terminated due to lack of funds, I suspect a member of the board wishes to see my claim denied.
While employed I never received warnings, reprimands, verbal or written, and had less than a year before my dismissal received a $1 hourly increase in pay. It was shortly after this the new member appeared. I always received commendations and praise for my work, and feel I was dismissed unfairly. However, the issue remains the possible accusation of misconduct.
I realize it is up to the employer to prove such a charge, but in light of the actual termination paperwork clearly stating financial issues as the sole cause for dismissal, can such a charge even be made?
Yes, I've had a week to brush up on all aspects of the upcoming interview, what's expected and what happens next, but it doesn't keep me from being worried sick! Any advice or observations welcomed!
