New Jersey Unemployment If You Get Laid-off

Generally, in New Jersey you have to have lost your job through no fault of your own in order to collect unemployment. When you get laid-off, it is not your fault.
In almost all cases, this means that if you get laid-off, you are eligible to collect unemployment benefits.
If you get laid-off from your job, you should immediately apply for unemployment benefits.
Getting laid-off doesn't mean that you were fired. Getting laid-off doesn't mean that you did something wrong. Getting laid-off means that they company that you worked for did not have enough work for you to do, and could no longer afford to pay you to do your job.

I was originally working three part time jobs. I quit two of the jobs when offered full time hours and over time (40-50 hours per week) at one of the jobs. The full time job company had financial problems and cut back my hours. According to their policy they only have to employ full time, non-salaried employees (as I am) 30 paid hours per pay period, bi-monthly. If I am only employed, as a 'full-time employee, 34 hours a week for instance, am I eligible to file a claim for the 6 hours that would bring me to a 40 hour work week? Thank you for your time and attention!
