four months ago I was working full time then i voluntarily quite to move to Las Vegas with my boyfriend because his father is sick. We decided to move here to take care of his father. I am having issues finding a job. I have applied to many different locations but unfortunately I have not been hired. Would I qualify for unemployment benefits?

Hello,

I've been collecting unemployment for the last 6 months. I have not had any luck yet. My question is that I am thinking of going back to school to change careers. Will I still be required to look for a job in my old profession at the same time? Also, I'm wondering how long I am able to collect while I'm in school. The program is approx. one year long. Any details you can provide me with will be much appreciated. Thank you.

Gina
