Missouri Unemployment If You Get Laid-off

Generally, in Missouri you have to have lost your job through no fault of your own in order to collect unemployment. When you get laid-off, it is not your fault.

In almost all cases, this means that if you get laid-off, you are eligible to collect unemployment benefits.

If you get laid-off from your job, you should immediately apply for unemployment benefits.

Getting laid-off doesn't mean that you were fired. Getting laid-off doesn't mean that you did something wrong. Getting laid-off means that they company that you worked for did not have enough work for you to do, and could no longer afford to pay you to do your job.

I've exhausted my MO unemployment benefits although I've been working part-time in the State of Kansas. Can I draw unemployment benefits from Kansas on my Missouri Wages even though I am still working part-time in Kansas?

I have been laid off from my job effective today, I am also a full time college student. Am I eligible for unemployment benefits? I was told I would still be considered staff but to come back in May. They claim that they couldnt work around my school schedule but my school schedule isn't something that is hard to work around I was still available for a lot of hours and they have always worked with everyone else in the past.

My job is being terminated. I will have 30 days ( not counting weekends) of vacation. When can I apply for Benefits?. Do I have to wait till the 30 days are over. Also I am eligible for a pension and if I start taking it how does that effect my Unemployment.
