This federal unemployment extension programs is called Emergency Unemployment Compensation, 2008 (Also known as EUC08).

It is very important that you keep track of your benefits to make sure you receive your unemployment extension if you are eligible.

As of today 12/6/2010 I'm on Maryland's Tier 3 of unemployment. If the extension gets passed will I qualify for the extention and get the additional weeks/months?
As of right now my benefits expire mid January
