I know about someone who collects the GA unemployment, and lives outside the country; He getting social security, income from investments and small pension in addition to unemployment, which he is receiving since 2009 (at that time he lost his job) and since they are extending it all the time, he continues to collect, but doesn’t live in Georgia. Actually he moved to Florida and then went to Spain to be with his lover. I think the only thing in GA is his computer from which he files his weekly claims. Yes, he has websites sending him jobs openings and he does call back and register it in his book, just to prove he looked for job, but has no intention to take one unless is highly paid with no responsibility, something that would be hard to refuse. Of course he covers his tracts the best he can. My question is “Can he legally do that?”
