HI, WHAT DO I DO IF I HAVE TO MOVE OUT OF STATE TO MOVE IN WITH MY MOTHER BECAUSE I CAN NO LONGER AFFORD TO LIVE IN MY HOME ELEC BILL,WATER,CAR PAYMENT,ECT...)IN FL.
SO I HAVE TO MOVE IN WITH MY MOTHER IN MI. PLUS THE FACT EVEN THOUGH I HAVE WORKED ALL OF MY LIFE AND NEVER COLLECTED UNEMPLOYMENT NO ONE WOULD HIRE ME BECAUSE I ONLY SPEAK ENGLISH. NEVER MIND THE EXTENSIVE MEDICAL BACKGROUND I HAVE AND FANTASTIC REFERENCES, NOW HOW DOES THAT WORK WITH THE LOSS OF MY JOB IN FL. AND HAVING TO MOVE TO MICHIGAN? DO I STILL CONTINUE TO GET MY BENEFITS IN FL OR MI.?
HOW WILL THIS AFFECT ME?

I am currently collecting unemployment in NY but am moving to Florida. i spoke with NY so i know i just have to change my address with them and continue claiming but how do I register with Florida, as that is what they told me I had to do. Can this be done online or do I have to go into an unemployment office in Florida (I soooo hope not). Any help would be appreciated.

I HAVE BEEN APPROVED FOR MY UNEMPLOYMENT. I WENT ONLINETO CLAIM MY WEEKS AND IT SAID STARTING MAY 31 WILL BE MY NEXT TIME TO CLAIM WEEKS. I FILED MAY 15TH DO I HAVE TO SUBMIT WORK SEARCHES FOR THOSE OTHER WEEKS

I am in a high risk pregnancy and had FMLA at my job. I have now exhausted my FMLA for the year. I am now having to use my Attendance credits. If I use all my attendance credits I will be kindly let go. Can i get unemployment when I am pregnant and have been let go as i have not attendance credits?

I am 72 years old and had been working in sales for a company in florida for 6 years. I earned a good salary plus commission and they took out taxes. Because of extreme stress in the job I quit and went to another company who paid the same salary plus commission but I work at home through virtual reality on computer. I get paid the same salary and commission but no taxes are taken out. If they fire me can I collect unemployment in FLorida

I am currently receiving Unemployment from the state of Florida but live in Oregon. I am not sure of which tier i am on, If I take a job (in Oregon) that is a three month contract, will I be able to continue unemployment compensation (from Florida) after that contract expires?

I've been calling the unemployment office at 1-800-732-8204 for 3 weeks now and I can not get ANYONE on the phone. It keeps saying that "All agents are busy. Please try your call again later." I don't think anyone is answering the phones. I have not received my unemployment for 3 weeks now & I don't know why. I still have benefits available & have been filling out the work logs every time. Why is no one answering the phones there?

Can my mother in law collect payment while in surgery / rehab for open heart surgery? She had emergeny surgery while collecting unemployment and cannot look for work until she recovers from surgery. Also when she heals can she still collect if she becomes able to look for work? Will she need to file a new claim?

I am currently collecting unemployment, but may have prospects for some short term, part-time work. My 20 weeks of benefits will expire in November. If I work during one or two weeks and receive compensation that exceeds my unemployment benefits for those weeks, will my benefit eligibility be extended?

I was fired by one of the attorneys I worked for, she stated to me I was doing a great job, but the owner informed her that she needed to let me go, and she gave me her personal information in case I need a reference, but I was just informed by unemployment it was because supposedly I did not get along with anyone, which of course that's a false statement. Would that be sufficient to be denied unemployment.

I was let go from my job of seven years and I filed for unemployment and just received notice that it has been denied because the employers states that I quit. I did not quit, I was told I was not longer able to perform the duties they hired me for because of my age. I filed an appeal but I have nothing in writing so what happens now?

I started a job in the middle of my second week cycle of benefits. Was unemployed for all of the first week and two of the five days in the second week. I made at least 5 contacts in both weeks. Will I be paid for the first and second week, just the first, or none at all?

Ok, i was wondering if anyone knew how to get your unemployment account overdrawn? or better yet, how do u get it back to a positive amount , instead of a negative amount? i was so post to get mine on 3-22, but it didnt come one. my mom did kall the number 20 plus times, she didnt know it costs $0.50 every time after the 2nd time you call them. so now its sitting at -9.69. any ideas on this? needed to get the money on there 3-22 when it was so post to be on there, its 3-23 and still in the negative. i didnt think you could overcharge unemployment, well i was wrong YOU CAN!

I was receiving nemployment until I found a temporary assigment in December that last for three weeks. When my assigment ended I didn't know that I was required to contact the temporary agency every week for addidtional placement therefore m unemployment benefits were ended. I just found out today they were ended because I didn'tmake a weekly call to the agecy I had worked three weeks for and I have not received any unemployment compensation since 2/20/2012. however I have been looking or work with other employers and have submitted that information to unemployment, can I legally be denied for unemployment for not calling this agency every week? When I did call they did not have an assignment for me.
