If I accept a full-time position with siginificantly lower pay (e.g. $57/hr vs. $9/hr) would I lose my unemployment benefits or receive a lower amount.

Can I draw from my retirement fund while receiving California state unemployment benefits? If so, Will money drawn from retirement lower my unemployment benefits?

Hello me and a fellow co-worker recently got in an arguement and were both suspended, during that arguement he made false accusations about me. Due to that,my hours have been cut from 60 to 16. I feel that my boss is just doing that so I could quit. The environment feels really hostile. If I quit u think I qualify for unemployment. I'm afraid to loose my house and not b able to feed my family.

I was laid off in oct and was awarded UI benefits. I was able to find work 5 weeks later, however... I fear I accepted this job in haste. i am a nurse and they are a private practice. They misrepresented the work that i would be doing and now are asking me to treat patients that is out of my scope of practice. When I informed them that this was not in my scope... I feel i have been treated punitively. I have only been on this job 3 weeks and it has been en ethical nightmare.

I fear, if i don't quit though...and soon... my license will be in jeopardy

Back in 2000 i was on Ui and worked a job for 3 weeks and quit because I was secually harassed. UI re-enstared my benefits as if my job never happened (just didnt pay me for the time)

Will that same thing happen again?.

I live in California and currently receiving unemployment benefit because I was laid off. I'm thinking about withdrawing my 401k to pay off certain credit card bills. I try calling/emailing EDD with no success, if I do withdraw my 401K does it affect my unemployment benefit? I know it vary from state to state.

I tryed to contact the EDD by phone and got nowhere. After being told to "push 1" for the millionth time they said they are taking no more calls.
My question is I worked for the IRS for 4 months during tax season. I was released the end of May I filed in July and was denied. I then realized I should of waited until August to apply. My question is do I just reapply in August?
Thank you, Charlene

We are in California and wanted to know what happens if we withdraw the money from a 401K and are receiving unemployment benefits, will our benefits be reduced or cancelled or how does it work?
