Arizona Unemployment Office

Sometimes it is difficult to get through to the AZ unemployment phone number, or you have questions that the website just can't answer, so you have to go to talk to someone face to face at the AZ unemployment office.

There is probably a AZ unemployment office in your town or county. Most states have one in every county. Be prepared though. Many people are applying for unemployment at the same time, and your local Arizona unemployment office could be very crowded, and you might have to wait in long lines in order to see someone.

Here are some tips when going to the AZ unemployment office:

1. Go early. Be there at least 1 hour before the office opens.
2. Dress appropriately. It will be very hot in the summer, and very cold in the winter. Dress appropriately for the temperature and time of year.
3. Pack a lunch. You will probably have to wait a long time in line, and will probably get hungry. Pack a lunch and bring lots of water to drink to stay hydrated.
4. Bring your medicine. If you take medications that you can't miss - make sure you bring all of the medicine that you will have to take for that day, just in case you are there all day long.
5. Bring a pen or pencil. You will need one to fill out the application and to take notes.

I was a school bus driver for peoria last year. 3 days before the end of the school year I was injured. I had shoulder surgery and did the re-hab. Was drawing workers comp.until I was relesed to go back to work Feb. 9th. My CDL medical card had expired while i was recovering. I didn't pass the physical because the vision in my right eye is 20/50; it needs to be 20/40. So I need to change careers. I am 67 years old and drawing social security. My question is am I qualified to draw unimployment?

I have been employed for over 2 years by Pomeroy at Honeywell, this morning they asked me if I had told the Shift Lead no, As in No I wasn't going to do some thing. I told them I said no, because I thought they were asking if i did something. Anyway the issue is both of my bosses take prescription mood altering drugs like Zannex, during the day, sometimes twice a day, and it seems to me like the side effects should be considered before asking me to explain the nusances of how i ansewerd a question. Do I have case?
