I work for a school district and was told on Friday that as of June 30, 2013 we would no longer have a job. They are doing away with our positions. I tried to call the 800 number for KS unemployment and was told that they could not tell me one way or the other if I was elgible for benefits. I was trying to find out this information so that I can plan what is going to happen as far as income. If you can give me any insight to this I would greatly appreciate it.
